The customer’s pet care equipment manufacturing plant was experiencing labour efficiency issues due to manual lubrication of equipment. The maintenance of more than 280 lubrication points in a very dusty and large facility took more than 40 hours per week. This resulted in labour costs of over €5 700 per month.
The client wanted the time spent on re-lubrication operations to be reduced and used for other maintenance operations where resources were needed.
